Penn SQL12 Squall Star Drag Conventional Reel is a compact, open-frame Penn casting reel. It provides the necessary command to work small baits on light line, at long distances. The Penn Squall's Live Spindle/free-floating spool design, six shielded stainless steel ball bearings plus instant anti-reverse, and externally adjustable magnetic brake deliver long, accurate, tangle-free casting without sacrificing strength. This conventional reel also offers a quick high-speed gear ratio 6 to 1, and the HT-100 drag washers guarantee smooth drag. The SQL12 Versa-Drag system also provides multi-drag settings no matter the conditoions.
